Club Meetings
Club meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month, beginning at 7:00 p.m. The first hour of the meeting is devoted to club business, while the balance of the meeting is scheduled for the monthly program. Each month, we strive to get a local professional angler, fishing guide, fisheries biologist, manufacturers representative, marine dealer or fishing-related professional to address the club members on various subjects of interest to the membership.
Most of the area’s fishing guides have addressed the club at various times, while Virginia Game Department officials have appeared on numerous occasions. A number of professional anglers on the National Circuits who live locally have taken part, as well as local marine dealers, bait manufacturers, fishing retailers, conservationists and water quality experts.
One part of the club’s mission statement calls for education. We have incorporated this format in order to make our members better anglers and better citizens.
