Why We Organized

New Horizon arose from the ashes of previous bass club failures. It's founders all had experienced the frustrations of clubs whose actions were contrary to their stated purposes; where meeting upon meeting was nothing more than arguments about rules; where member's abilities did not grow because no one would share knowledge; where winning (sometimes at any cost), was more important than fishing and having fun.

New Horizon's founders knew that there was a better way. And they set about building an organization whose ideals and mission would be ensured by the very nature of the club's structure.
